Tools and resources to support maternal and newborn health
- Creating and advancing easy-to-use technologies to prevent deadly complications in labor and delivery including a simple, inexpensive diagnostic to screen for pre-eclampsia.
- Evaluating multimodal non-invasive anemia devices.
Point-of-care diagnostics to support the diagnosis and treatment of HIV
- Developing, evaluating, and commercializing simple, easy-to-use, and inexpensive rapid diagnostic tests to support the diagnosis and treatment of HIV in low-resource settings.
- Conducting quality assurance lot testing for HIV rapid tests, to help procurers consistently deliver quality tests.
- Exploring novel HIV self-testing platforms and approaches to make self-testing approachable and affordable.
Point-of-care RTDs to support the diagnosis and treatment of Tuberculosis
- Developing, evaluating, and commercializing simple, easy-to-use, and inexpensive rapid diagnostic tests to support the diagnosis and treatment of Tuberculosis in low-resource settings.
Tools and resources to help improve nutrition efficacy in low-and-middle income countries
- Ensuring that children have the nutrition needed to thrive with a multiplexed immunoassay, a simple tool that improves the surveillance of vitamin and mineral deficiencies.
- Collaborating to develop a multiplex diagnostic tool to accelerate the development of interventions for environmental enteric dysfunction (EED) that supports MN deficiency assessment allied to indicators of gut dysfunction and stunting of growth.
Reagents to support the development of affordable vaccines
- Advancing the development of serotype-specific monoclonal antibodies (mAbs) to support the development of pneumococcal vaccines.
