Sylvana Quader Sinha

Sylvana Quader Sinha is a Bangladeshi - American lawyer and entrepreneur. She is the founder, chair, and CEO of Praava Health which has the mission to improve health outcomes and patient journeys in emerging markets, where 85% of the world lives. Drawing her inspiration from conversations with public health professionals and business experts in India, Asia, and across the globe, Praava has become Bangladesh’s fastest-growing consumer healthcare company, having served more than 400,000 patients to date.

Praava’s unique model combines digital health tools designed to be efficient, accessible, and scalable with high-quality in-clinic experiences, including meaningful doctor-patient relationships, quality diagnostics, and pharmacy services.

Previously, Sinha worked as an associate at Weil, Gotshal, & Manges, LLP, and Lovells LLP, and as a management consultant at Boston Consulting Group and PricewaterhouseCoopers. Throughout her career, she served in different capacities at the World Bank in Kabul, Afghanistan, and New York. Her previous positions include being a social protection specialist at the International Labour Organization and serving as a foreign policy advisor to the 2008 presidential campaign of then-senator Barack Obama.

In addition to being a PATH board member, Sinha is also a member of the Council on Foreign Relations, a member of the World Economic Forum’s UHC2030 Private Sector Constituency, and has served on the Task Force on Global Advantage at the Arnhold Institute for Global Health at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai.

Sinha graduated from Columbia Law School. She also holds a master's degree in Public Administration / International Development from Harvard's Kennedy School and a Bachelor of Arts (with honors) in Economics and Philosophy from Wellesley College
