Levis Nderitu
Levis Nderitu is PATH’s Global Head of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. Based in Nairobi, Kenya, Levis is responsible for refining and implementing PATH’s DEI strategy. He serves as the primary DEI advisor to PATH’s executive team and board of directors, including by providing input to the PATH strategy and facilitating DEI learning sessions.
Levis is currently leading the creation of a DEI center of expertise to advise, support, and bring together global workstreams.
Levis has more than ten years of international development and private-sector experience in DEI, culture, and employee engagement across East Africa, Europe, and the United States. Most recently, his work at Médecins Sans Frontières in Kenya included developing a DEI vision and roadmap, serving as an advisor to leadership, facilitating difficult conversations, and training on cross-cultural competence, unconscious bias, and anti-racism.
Prior to that, he held globally and locally focused positions in Europe, Kenya, and the United States in which he developed and executed on culture, gender, and/or DEI strategies touching all levels of the organizations for which he worked.
Levis holds a Master of Arts in Social Policy for Development from Erasmus University Rotterdam in the Netherlands, an MBA, and a Bachelor of Commerce in Marketing from the University of Nairobi. He also holds Executive Certificates in PR Strategy, Diversity and Inclusion from Cornell University as well as Business and Entrepreneurship from the University of Texas at Austin.
