Earnest Muyunda

Dr. Earnest Muyunda is the new HUB Director Southern Africa and Country Director for Zambia, having served as the Zambia Country Program Deputy Country Director since 2017. Earnest has more than 20 years’ experience in public health programming, having worked as a team lead on a global AIDS program and as a regional director in the East and Southern Africa region. He has extensive experience in managing USAID-funded health, PMTCT and nutrition programs in the region, and has provided technical assistance to maternal and child health programs, HIV prevention care and treatment, PMTCT and nutrition program. He was most recently the Country Project Manager for the Zambia chapter of the global USAID-funded Food and Nutrition Technical Assistance Project (FANTA) in Zambia. He has vast experience working with the Zambian and several Southern African health Ministries at various levels.
