Carolyne Njuguna
Carolyne Njuguna is the Director of PATH’s East Africa Hub and PATH’s Country Director in Kenya. Carolyne is responsible for providing strategic leadership and guidance across PATH’s activities and operations in East Africa, while overseeing PATH programs in Kenya.
Carolyne joined PATH in 2018 as the International IT Operations Manager. During her tenure, she spearheaded an initiative to automate and streamline processes across international offices for operational efficiency. She also led business engagement initiatives with various teams across PATH, leading to enhanced collaboration and technological integration.
Prior to joining PATH, Carolyne held managerial positions with Christian Aid covering East, South, and the Horn of Africa. She also held various leadership roles at GOAL Ireland, Safaricom, and AccessKenya Group. Carolyne has also served on the leadership forum for NetHope Africa, a nonprofit organization that brings together more than 60 international nongovernmental organizations and technology partners.
Carolyne is an experienced program leader and digital technology professional. She has extensive experience in telecommunications as well as in international development, where her work has focused on public health, climate change, education, and humanitarian response. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and an MBA in Strategic Management.
