An expert advisory group meeting was held at PATH in August 2014 to build consensus among knowledge leaders and active researchers on approaches to improve oxygen concentrators to treat pediatric patients with hypoxemia or severe respiratory distress in low-resource settings. Key issues including procurement, performance, and maintenance were identified.
