Myanmar is in a time of unique political and social transition. However, sexual and reproductive health outcomes in Myanmar remain among the poorest in the region.

PATH is supporting Myanmar’s Ministry of Health and Sports to develop a new National Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights Policy that aims to provide an inclusive policy framework to guide subsequent strategic plans, clinical guidelines, care pathways, service standards, and data collection, that take a rights-based approach to sexual and reproductive health service delivery.
