PATH appoints Ben Aliwa as new Chief Business and Finance Officer
Seattle, United States - PATH is pleased to announce that Ben Aliwa is our new Chief Business and Finance Officer. Ben brings over 20 years of sector experience. In his new role, Ben will be responsible for establishing and maintaining strong financial stewardship for growth and impact, optimizing operational efficiency and agility, and strong process automation. This includes overseeing the finance, audit, accounting, IT, facilities, security, travel, and continuous business improvement functions, among others, within a holistic division.
Ben has been a part of the PATH team for several years and has served as the Deputy Director of Research and Operations, Deputy Chief Operating Officer, Interim Chief Operating Officer, Director of Global Risk and Compliance, and Director of the East Africa Hub and Kenya Country Program. Before joining PATH, Ben served in leadership and other roles with Save the Children International; the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria; the United Nations Development Programme; Skillshare International UK; and the United Nations Children’s Fund.

Ben holds an MBA in International Business from University of Cumbria, UK, and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Nairobi. He is based in Nairobi, Kenya.
