Join PATH at ICFP 2022

November 7, 2022 by PATH

At the 6th International Conference on Family Planning (ICFP), PATH will exchange learnings and showcase our commitment to health equity by supporting the delivery of integrated family planning and primary health care services, ensuring that client needs and preferences shape health care systems and technologies.

The COVID-19 response impacted the ability of women and girls to access a broad range of contraceptive methods as routine health services were interrupted and mobility was restricted. Border closings and supply chain delays also affected the availability and distribution of contraceptives and other health supplies. Despite these challenges, PATH and partners have persisted in our efforts to promote a rights-based approach to woman-led, tailored, and integrated service delivery that is essential to realigning the future of family planning (FP) programming if we are to achieve universal access by 2030.

At the conference, PATH speakers will share evidence and insights with global colleagues through more than 25 presentations and events. Participants will highlight how we: co-create sustainable models for integrated FP and primary health care services that support women and girls to choose the FP method that best fits their needs; develop and facilitate the introduction of self-care FP methods like the single-sized Caya diaphragm and the self-injectable contraceptive subcutaneous DMPA (DMPA-SC); and implement a total market approach that makes a range of FP products accessible to all those who need and want them.

See below for a full schedule of PATH’s events and oral, flash, and poster presentations at ICFP.
