For more than four decades, PATH has been a trusted partner to government leaders, social investors, grassroots groups, and businesses of every size and type. We specialize in matching each partner’s expertise with our unique strengths to develop, deploy, and scale up innovations that remove roadblocks to health.
We partner with local, national, and global decision-makers to craft evidence-based policies, make better use of better data, navigate regulatory hurdles, shape markets for products that improve health, and design cost-effective systems to deliver these innovations to the people who need them most.
In communities around the world, we connect local innovators and decision-makers with our global network of partners to develop responsive, human-centered solutions to health challenges. Along the way, people build skills to fill new health care and technology jobs. Local innovators develop and find markets for brilliant health solutions. Communities, countries, and economies thrive.

Thousands of partners, millions of lives saved
Over the past four decades, that collaborative approach has brought together tens of thousands of partners to save lives and improve health for hundreds of millions of people around the world. With a diverse array of partners based on four continents, these photos show a few of the innovations we've developed:
PATH has more than two dozen vaccines in development or already in use to protect against 15 different diseases. Our vaccines for meningitis A and Japanese encephalitis together have reached more than 500 million people in Africa and Asia.
1 of 6Vaccine technologies like the vaccine vial monitor—with nearly 7 billion units procured since 1996— help ensure that vaccines are delivered in the right condition to safely protect all who need them.
2 of 6PATH-pioneered approaches have contributed to 6.2 million lives saved over the course of 15 years. Approaches range from an array of tools to end malaria, to diagnostics and drugs, to one of the world’s largest pipelines of malaria vaccine administration.
3 of 6More than 100 health technologies developed and adapted by PATH have saved the lives of mothers and newborns, empowered women with family planning options, and improved nutrition and access to clean water and improved sanitation.
4 of 6PATH partnerships have also launched strategies that help countries and communities strengthen their health systems, advocate for lifesaving policies and priorities, and generate demand for high-quality health services and products.
5 of 6Finally, we focus on digital health solutions that make better use of better data so no child misses a vaccination, every health worker is empowered to track and treat sick patients, and precious health resources go where they’re needed most.
