Africa User Research in Water & Sanitation—Ethiopia
To increase access to safe drinking water and reduce the incidence of waterborne diseases, PATH’s Safe Water Project has been exploring the potential of market-based approaches to provide clean water for low- and middle-income households. The goal of the project's product development work has been to understand user needs and preferences around household water treatment and storage, foster widespread demand for and availability of new and/or improved products, and raise the bar for the affordability, quality, value, and performance of these products. This report focuses on the results of user research in Ethiopia.
