Malaria can be controlled. Mosquito nets, insecticide, and medication are among the simple, proven interventions that can save the 2,300 people a day who die from malaria. We’re working with the Zambian Government and others to roll out these lifesaving measures throughout Zambia and beyond. Our goal: stopping malaria, saving lives.
Blogging daily from Africa during World Malaria Day
MACEPA, Rotary, and others are blogging live from Ethiopia, Malawi, and Zambia during the events surrounding World Malaria Day 2010.
Bloggers are sharing on-the-ground perspectives and voices from the people who are helping to rid the world of this disease, one day at a time. Join us as we count malaria out at http://macepadiary.wordpress.com/.
The Malaria Control and Evaluation Partnership in Africa is a partnership between PATH, the Government of Zambia, and other partners in the region.
