Seattle, January 8, 2018—PATH has named Elaine Gibbons as vice president for Global Engagement and Communications at PATH, where she will lead a team that engages donors, partners, and peers in mobilizing resources to solve the world's most challenging health problems.

Ms. Gibbons will oversee PATH's brand, communications, policy and advocacy, philanthropy, and strategic corporate engagements and will be based in PATH's Seattle headquarters. Her team inspires support for PATH's mission and convenes multisector partnerships with corporations, governments, funders and policymakers to take innovation to scale and improve life for hundreds of millions of people every year.

"PATH is a unique force in the field of global health. We leverage the latest advancements in technology, engage with private companies, and work directly with governments to ensure the success of our projects," Ms. Gibbons said. "I am delighted to step into this new role at PATH, and committed to continuing to build our network of partners and implementers across the world to improve health through creative and forward-thinking programs."

Ms. Gibbons joined PATH in 2013, creating PATH's Global Corporate Engagement Strategy and hiring a team to develop industry engagements rooted in corporate responsibility and shared value. A thought leader on multisector partnerships, Ms. Gibbons is a founding member of the Forum on Public-Private Partnerships at the National Academy of Medicine.

"Elaine has demonstrated outstanding leadership over the past four years at PATH in creating and growing our world-class Corporate Engagement discipline," said Steve Davis, president and CEO of PATH. "She has excellent leadership, marketing, and operational skills, and has a proven track record of leading global teams and delivering great results in both business and nonprofit environments."

Ms. Gibbons has more than 15 years of experience leading international teams and executing major strategic initiatives in both business and nonprofits, with specific expertise in organizational and financial transformation. Before joining PATH, she worked with Russell Investments, including two years in Bangalore, India, where she led the development and management of all global offshore operations as managing director. Prior to that, she was managing director of Russell's Private Client Services Marketing and Strategic Initiatives team, where she led the B2B Go-To-Market team.

A native of the United Kingdom, Ms. Gibbons earned her BA from Nottingham Trent University. She is a Board Member of Within Reach, a Washington state organization that supports healthy families and communities, a passionate human rights advocate, and a lifelong member of Amnesty International.
